THE BRAGGING SONG The name of this one says it all really! A song to brag about how wonderrufl it is to be us! There is an almost hidden message in this song, at the end of the last verse, under the line, "We live and die by Odin's will...", there is an almost sepulcheral voice intoning, "We live and die within Babh's eye...!" this being a tip o' the hat to those within the Fianna who are followers of Babh-The Raven (war) aspect of the Earth Goddess. |
